GHS implementation cost
REACH, to some extent a regulatory big bang, has attracted in recent years much attention. This requires the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) - the classification and labeling of chemicals - also the full attention. The experience gained from current projects for both large corporations as well as SMEs show that it is the far-reaching implications of the GHS implementation to be underestimated. To demonstrate
way of commercial implementation, the Chem-Academy will hold on 14 to 16 June 2010 in Cologne, the second annual conference "Globally Harmonized System . Experts from the fields of product safety and chemical law adviser and discuss how a CLP / GHS in an economically viable manner can be implemented.

technical papers from the practice of agencies and leading companies such as the BAuA, ECHA, 3M, Schenker, Henkel, Clariant and give many more answers to key questions regarding current projects and discussions, the coordination of GHS activities between Europe, Asia and the U.S. and their interactions with REACH.
CLP / GHS
devotes a number of contributions to the regulatory requirements of a GHS and CLP / GHS. Here, the approach to the classification of physical hazards is well lit as the impact of the CLP Regulation in different areas of law. In addition, participants learn what effect GHS has on multimodal transport and the transport regulations are concerned.
GHS implementation
refers Following the conference program on the third day interactive workshop, led by Karin Merkl, Merck KGaA instead. Together with the workshop leader, participants work out a plan for gradual implementation of GHS.
